About Katherine

Katherine has been making confections for over 10 years, and started designing recipes to launch Katherine Anne Confections in the fall of 2006. Over 60 "trial runs" later, she debuted with six amazing types of truffles, and three exquisite varieties of caramels.

Katherine continues to work out of a rental kitchen in Edgewater with a small staff, creating the finest confections for customers to enjoy nationwide.

Truffles and caramels

Our confections are handmade from scratch. No artificial preservatives, flavors, or colors. We use the finest natural ingredients, and many of them are local or organic. Our truffles are hand-dipped, creating the signature "pooling" of chocolate around the base.


Our caramels are made with local Illinois honey, and hand-stirred to perfection.

Being Green

Our packaging is handmade by a fair-trade workshop. The boxes are made from a treeless paper, and are recyclable and biodegradable. We also print all of our brochures and anything in-house using at least 30% post-consumer recycled paper.
